Abstract:

A Wyoming man died in 2003, leaving the bulk of his $50 million–$100 million estate to the University of Wyoming Foundation, and nothing to his estranged niece and nephew. They sued, claiming the decedent had agreed with his sister (their mother) that he would leave his estate to the family if she would help him conceal assets from his wife during a messy divorce in 1966.
