Abstract:
Lamonte and Regina Lawrence set up their CRT in 1999, naming themselves as lifetime beneficiaries, with the remainder going to the Jewish Community Foundation. They named Bankers Trust of California as the trustee. Although the Lawrences claimed they didn’t know it, Bankers Trust had recently been acquired by Deutsche Bank.Keywords:
