Abstract:
The Charitable IRA suddenly came back to life as a part of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. One of the few bright spots for charities in the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA) was the Charitable IRA provision. Back in May the House passed H.R. 6049, The Energy and Tax Extenders Act of 2008, extending the Charitable IRA provision along with dozens of other expired tax provisions.Keywords:
