Abstract:
Charitable pledges have become a significant means to make a gift a charity. Because charitable pledges are so significant, charitable organizations, such as family foundations, may rely on the ultimate payment of the pledges to support their operating costs and project missions.1 Further, the donors, including family foundations, often rely on the fact that the recipient charitable organization will follow through on any agreed-upon promises associated with the pledge included in the document or oral promise.Keywords:
