Abstract:
The IRS has announced that it is making information from approved applications for tax exemption using Form 1023-EZ, Streamlined Application for Recognition of Exemption, available electronically. Foundations, however, must not assume that online filing means that all of its reporting obligations have been taken care of. In fact, it does not appear that the newly available Form 1023-EZ information satisfies either foundations’ public disclosure or copy requirements.Keywords: Form 1023-EZ
