Abstract:
In the wake of devastating natural disasters, human-made disasters, and recent acts of violence, tremendous concern has de - veloped among individuals who interact or work with children regarding the impact of disasters on youth. Parents and other adults (e.g., teachers) may assume that children are resilient and that their reactions to disasters are transitory and fleeting, even though that may not be the case.Keywords:
