Abstract:
For securities issuers, buyers, and advisors dealing with a distressed security, this panel provides alternatives to panic and uncertainty about where to turn for help. The authors describe three valuable resources to help you navigate through the distressed period: the trustee, the trustee counsel, and the bondholder financial advisor. They also address basic bondholder group protocols in distressed situations and restriction decisions. Mary Jane Minier is head of opportunistic credit strategy at Invesco.
