Abstract:

Treasury has stated an intention to broadly examine the compensation strategies of financial institutions beyond that of the top senior executives and to develop a model of compensation policies for the future in order to create long-term executive pay reform. The various executive compensation restrictions are geared to limiting the type of compensation received by certain executives, limiting the amount of compensation, and limiting severance payments.
