Abstract:

Pennsylvania and New York recently enacted new protections for domestic violence victims. Pennsylvania and New York are among the growing number of states that have passed some form of gun control legislation in the past few years. New York’s legislative efforts went beyond these new firearm restrictions and covered many additional areas, including economic abuse, voting, reporting crimes, contract law housing discrimination, and employment discrimination.
