Abstract: 

Stress from military service and deployment profoundly affect the lives of service personnel and their loved ones. Although the military has some programs to address this problem, domestic violence advocates and military personnel have advocated for additional support and services. A nonprofit organization has stepped in to fill the void with “Operation Healing Forces” (OHF). This article briefly examines this innovative program addressing the challenges posed by domestic violence, with a special focus on families in Special Operations Forces.
