Abstract: 

Training requirements for new APS workers nationwide average 68 hours, a 2002 report newly published by the National Center on Elder Abuse reveals. “State Adult Protective Services Training Programs, 2002,” prepared by the National Adult Protective Services Association (at that time, the National Association of Adult Protective Services Administrators), was recently publi8shed. This article summarizes its findings.
