Abstract: 

Internet flirtation is not solely the realm of the young, there is no shortage of people over 50 looking for love and sex. Unfortunately scams involving elderly men and women who are falsely romanced online are on the rise, this article presents several cautionary tales as well as signs and guidelines for caregivers and seniors.
