Abstract:
This piece analyses the need for—and difficulty of— implementing therapeutic community treatment in the correctional environment. In spite of concrete scientific evidence, correctional practitioners have been resistant to adapting such new practices. The present authors provide a framework for constructively and effectively implementing these new and effective measures.Keywords: therapeutic community; best practices
