Abstract:
This issue reviews two legal proceedings. Isaac Baldon III, moves to suppress the discovery of marijuana in his car, claiming that the search of his room and car had violated the provision against unreasonable searches and seizures after signing a parole agreement agreeing to the condition. Charles J. Selby, a Michigan prisoner serving a life sentence, fi led a civil rights action against offi cials of the Michigan Department of Corrections, alleging that he was incarcerated under administrative segregation for almost 13 years without receiving the meaningful review required by due process.Keywords: Iowa v.
