Abstract: 

This article highlights a new book by Australian social worker/ researcher Chris Trotter, who teaches at Monash University. The new volume (Working with Involuntary Clients: A Guide to Practice, Sage Publications, 1999) “presents a specific integrated intervention model for work with involuntary clients which has been developed from the empirical research about what works.”
