Abstract: 

The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Drug Court Clearinghouse and Technical Assistance Project at American University, established by the Drug Courts Program Office, Office of Justice Programs at the U.S. Department of Justice, has been tracking drug court activity and developments since its establishment in 1995. This article describes observations that emerge from the Clearinghouse’s most recent information gathering activities. Most of the observations cited in this article are derived from various surveys and other information compiled by the OJP Drug Court Clearinghouse and from its technical assistance activities.
