Abstract: 

“Connor’s Tale” is a fictional account that explains how a number of reintegration technologies can be used to assist with an offender’s transition from prison to the community. In this short story, the following technologies are featured: Pre-parole video conferencing; Offender tracking (inclusion zones); Offender tracking (exclusion zones); Offender tracking (mobile exclusion zones); Instant drug testing; Continuous alcohol monitoring; Remote computer monitoring; Online employment search engines; and automated kiosk reporting.
