Abstract: 

This issue reviews two legal proceedings: The first regarding a NYS prison who files a complaint claiming that violence perpetrated by inmates on inmates and by staff on inmates is pervasive and unchecked throughout the entire state correctional system, the second a man thrice convicted for failing to register as a sex-offender argues tha his original conviction 15 years in the past was no justification for the special conditions of supervised release that were imposed.
