Abstract: 

This issue addresses several important appellate court decisions therapist-patient confidentiality; conditions; and standards of care; examines important legal arguments involving trial competency; examines best practices for juvenile correctional mental health; and summarizes recent studies on the effectiveness of prison-based treatment.
