Abstract:
The results of a special review the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) conducted into the payments made to special masters and plaintiffs’ attorneys by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation on various lawsuits to provide the department and its stakeholders with a snapshot of the significant legal costs associated with its ongoing litigation in federal and state courts.Keywords:
