Abstract:
The “Colorado Study” discussed in our last issue touches off a new round of debate on the use of penal isolation, particularly for prisoners suffering with mental illness or “at risk” of becoming mentally ill under the stringent conditions of administrative segregation.Keywords: Estelle v.
