Abstract: 

Mark Shaver was arrested for shoplifting DVD’s from an Ohio Walmart. He was detained in a local jail and within 48 hours he collapsed and died from a cerebral aneurysm. Shaver interacted with six nurses at least eight times during his brief stay. They noted symptoms, there is at least one reference in their notes to withdrawal, but they provided no treatment. So who\'s to blame?
