Impaired Driving Update

Abstract: 

Just prior to this year’s Independence Day holiday, which has long been known as a dangerous time to travel by car, Congress approved the federal transportation legislation called Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century, or “MAP-21.” The legislation couples financial incentives with what MADD notes is a “moral obligation” to pass lifesaving laws to combat the risks associated with impaired driving.
