Abstract:
This article addresses two theories of workplace organization and supervision, Theory X and Theory Y. Theory X says that because workers are ultimately lazy and unmotivated, a watchful and skeptical supervisory approach must be taken. Theory Y states that workers often enjoy their work and have potential for talents and creativity and that a supportive and motivational approach must be taken. This article discusses how these two theories cam be used to counsel and remedy drunk drivers.Keywords: M.I.T.; Mothers Against Drunk Driving Victim Impact Panel (VIP);
