Abstract:
The recent release of the World Health Organization’s comprehensive country-by-country survey of traffic injuries and fatalities adds to a limited report issued five years ago. In 2004, traffic accidents and crashes were the tenth leading cause of death. However, by year 2030 they will be the fifth leading cause of death. This article looks at worldwide statistics presented in the World Health Organization’s report and summarizes the recommendations that it makes to lower drunk driving fatalities.Keywords: BAC; The Global Study Five Risk Factors for Injury;
