Abstract:

The project of erecting a Snohomish County DUI Task Force DUI Victims Memorial Wall to commemorate individuals who were victims of drunk driving has become a reality, and, four years later, is an on-going positive program for community members and families in Everett, WA. With a vision starting back in 1999 by former DUI Task Force member, Bud Wessman, and then followed-up by his wife Lyn Wessman, DUI Task Force member Deborah Wright, and the rest of the committee, it became a reality in 2001. This article looks at the purpose of this memorial, and the collaboration that went into building it.
