Abstract: 

The law enforcement community is constantly looking for ways to increase and strengthen ties with the communities they serve. The ability of specially trained officers to assist groups within the community, to address special needs and concerns, is a winning proposition for all involved. This article looks at ways it can inform the education community about drugs and a course that can teach education professionals how to recognize drug users and take the appropriate action.
