Abstract: 

This issue’s Legislative Update column covers federal and state legislation aimed at aggressive,distracted, and impaired driving, with a focus on bills that have been introduced, enacted, or had major actions between August and December 2015. Bills summarized here include ones dealing with aggressive driving signed or introduced in Maine and New Jersey; distracted driving bills introduced or signed in Alabama, California, Florida, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin; and impaired driving bills enacted in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
