Abstract:
The first “Decade of Action for Road Safety” was launched as a worldwide collaboration among governments and their partnering agencies in 2011, officiated by the UN General Assembly a year prior. The collaboration was intended to share strategies, information, expertise, and uniform approaches to road safety to reduce fatal accidents on the roadway.
