Abstract:
College administrators, quite understandably, take an interest in the activities of fraternities. Where hazing takes the form of physical or psychological abuse, or students legally or illegally (depending on age) are consuming alcohol at the behest of fraternity members, there are potential tort liability problems for universities as well as for local and national chapters of fraternities. Moreover, university disciplinary codes should contain anti-hazing provisions in order to deter students from the more serious kinds of hazing. Keywords: Walker v.
