Abstract:

Trump University offered business courses for people who were willing to exchange substantial tuition money for instruction on how to apply Donald Trump’s business methods to make large sums of money for themselves. Donald Trump claims that most people who signed up for Trump University courses were satisfied they got what they paid for, but the pendency of at least two lawsuits shows that there were people who believed that they did not receive the benefit of the bargain. The following article is intended as a nonjudgmental description of what the current claims are all about.

Keywords: legal problems encountered by for-profit educational institutions; Trump Elite program class action suit; Matter of People v. Trump Entrepreneur Initiative LLC
