Abstract: 

Our regular review of the research literature on student behavior and development examines how the low ratio of females among campus police may lower reporting of sexual assault, and ways of improving the accuracy of reporting; whether mass media coverage may actual worsen the problem of campus violence; rape as an act of individual pathology and as the product of a violent subculture; identifying students prone to alcohol abuse; and factors that seem to produce happiness among college students.
