Abstract:
All of the articles in this issue from the “CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain—United States, 2016” include numbered references to an extensive reference bibliography of 223 citations. Numbers appear in the text in parentheses [e.g, (1)]. The reference list is 11 pages and was too long to include in the print edition of Correctional Health Care Report Volume 17 Number 3. The list is included here in its entirety; each reference is hyperlinked to its original source (e.g. Cross Ref or PubMed). The complete guidelines, including references, are available from the CDC in html at no charge at http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/65/rr/rr6501e1.htm. Subscribers to Correctional Health Care Report can access the “References” here at no charge by clicking “Open This Article” and providing log in credentials. Non-subscribers can access the “References” for a $7 courtesy service fee. Keywords: CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain — United States, 2016
